National Night Out
First Tuesday in August
To Be Announced
Fairhaven High School lawn, 12 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven
The Town of Fairhaven and the Fairhaven Police Department sponsor this free community event outdoors at the Fairhaven High School, 12 Huttleston Ave, and the adjacent Fairhaven Academy lawn.
Meet the Police Department, and experience firsthand the equipment they use, including Police cruisers, the Police safety boat, the Harbormaster truck, the Animal Control van, and learn more about the departments and people who keep you safe. Fire Department truck and vehicles will also be on display. Refreshments will be supplied by local businesses (first come, first serve). There will be music, informational booths, demonstrations, children’s activities and more.
There will be tours of Fairhaven High School.
Rest rooms will be available in the high school. The Visitors Center in the Academy Building will be open and there is a rest room there as well.
National Night Out is a nationwide movement to bring communities together, and an opportunity for the community to meet the members of law enforcement who keep us all safe.
