Meet the Fairhaven Village Militia

Fairhaven Village Militia Meet & Greet

Visit with the Fairhaven Village Militia at this free indoor educational event outlining Fairhaven’s history during the Revolutionary War era. Attendees can meet the historical re-enactors, and see demonstrations of colonial life including midwifery, colonial clothing and sewing, tin smithing, and other period happenings.

There will be a children’s area where kids can try out colonial toys and games that children enjoyed in the late 1700s. There will also be other kid activities.

Members of the Wareham Minutemen and Militia Companies, Inc. will also be participating.

If the weather permits, we may have an outside encampment display and a militia drilling demonstration. This is a great event for young and old alike. Come see this living history event.
