Occupying the most of the southern half of Long Island, near West Island, Hoppy’s Landing offers a launching place for boaters and kayakers as well as a spot for fishing or just enjoying the salt air. Directly on the open waters of Buzzards Bay, it has been called “a fisherman’s paradise” by its former owner Robert “Hoppy” Hobson. There is a large parking lot of crushed shells and a picnic table near the water’s edge.
Parking is $7 per day. There is a restroom and trash receptacles onsite. Owned and maintained by the Town of Fairhaven.
