This traditional festival celebrates cherry blossoms and our friendship with Japan. Activities, demonstrations, and a museum tour are included as listed below. Free admission.

Activities during the day may include: Kimono sale from Tosashimizu, Kamishibai (paper theater), Shin Daiko (Japanese taiko drumming), Martial Arts (Aikido plus), Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging)

– 10:00 AM Opening greetings
– 11:00 AM Kamishibai (paper theater)
– 12:00 NOON Ukelele songs
– 12:30 PM Bento box lunch (no raw items/see below)
– 1:30 PM Shin Daiko (Japanese taiko drumming)
– 2:00 PM Martial Arts (Aikido)
– 2:00 PM Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) -2nd floor

JAPANESE BRIDAL KIMONO and raffle

Bento box lunch (no raw items) with Japanese green tea and cherry square. (limited number) at $20 for adult. Lunch must be pre-ordered by calling Gerry at 508-858-5303.
