Fairhaven’s 1845 gothic-inspired First Congregational Church is the setting for Seaglass Theater Company’s spring concert, “Bernstein! A 100th Birthday Bash.” Celebrate the 100th birthday of Americas Maestro with selections from his popular musicals “West Side Story,” “On the Town,” and “Candide” and gems from “Peter Pan,” “Mass,” and “Wonderful Town.” Appearing at this concert are soprano Bethany Worrell, soprano Patrice Tiedemann, mezzo-soprano Stacey Geer, tenor Dennis Shuman, and baritones Philip Lima and Phillip Takemura Sears, with pianist Dr. Matthew Larson and percussionist Neil Sylvia. From “New York, New York” to “Maria” to “Make Our Garden Grow,” you will be enthralled by this company of professional artists as well as a chorus of outstanding South Coast performers.
